As a Tech Support Walk Up Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the community by resolving technical issues, providing training on audiovisual equipment, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Provide Level 2 technical support and advice to staff and students on the usage of audiovisual equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet goals and manage projects effectively.
- Deliver training sessions and support on the use of audiovisual and video conference facilities.
- Respond promptly to direct requests for event support.
Qualifications:
- IT-related qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Customer-facing service experience, with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a collaborative culture.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in troubleshooting techniques.
