THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated IT Services Staff member to contribute to this meaningful cause by providing essential technical support and innovative solutions.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ICT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying software and hardware needs to address technical issues, responding to user inquiries, and ensuring the optimal performance of IT systems.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Assess and determine software and hardware requirements to resolve technical problems effectively.
- User Assistance: Address user queries and provide support for software and hardware-related issues.
- Program Adaptation: Modify existing programs to align with users' specific needs.
- Software Management: Install and configure necessary software to ensure proper functionality.
- Application Efficiency: Ensure the efficient operation and utilisation of applications and equipment.
- Network Implementation: Implement and manage computer networks to support organizational operations.
- Website Maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain websites as required.
- Peripheral Equipment Maintenance: Repair and replace peripheral devices such as terminals, printers, and modems.
- Video Editing Support: Assist with video editing tasks, including software installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance.
Qualifications and experience:
- Proven experience in ICT support or a similar role of two or more years.
- Relevant bachelor degree in IT support or related fields.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripheral equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues.
- Familiarity with video editing software and related troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and on time.
- Work with Children Check is required.
