We are looking for a Technical Account Representative based in north Queensland for a Work From Home position. You will be working for a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts. They have a wide product range suitable for the pumping of fluids within the waste water, chemical, food, beverage, paper, mining, mineral processing, marine, agricultural and oil and gas sectors.JOB ROLE: Reporting to the State Sales Manager, to provide a high level of technical sales representation to achieve revenue and margin objectives as set by Senior Management.
- The position offered is for a representative based in north Queensland to cover sales in north Queensland and Northern Territory.
- Sales to the Agricultural, Food & Beverage and General Industry.
- Develop positive relationships with dealers and clients with the aim of specifying our products and services.
- To play an active role in the north Queensland and Northern Territory operations and in the overall development and deployment of sales and marketing strategies that meet the company's business and operational goals.
- To focus on achieving revenue opportunities and sales growth in north Queensland and Northern Territory.
- To actively promote the business, its products, and services and to be able to meet customer expectations with respect to technical and commercial issues.
- To understand and support company's policies, procedures and work practices that ensure the overall objectives within the company are achieved.
- To play an active role in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and ensure compliance with company's Quality processes.
- Ensure that CRN, Warranty and Credit issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- To complete reporting requirements as required by the State Sales Manager.
- Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary.
- Technically minded with Engineering or Trade qualifications an advantage.
- Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within the pump industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence customers at all levels.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites within the assigned territory.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
