About the role:
NB: The successful candidate is required to be on-site at the manufacturing plant, in Erskine Park NSW, every working day.
You will be a member of the IT team responsible for keeping the core systems of the Retail Ready food manufacturing plant functional and resilient. Based in Western Sydney, this team is responsible for the maintenance, analysis and continuous improvement of the core applications and plant automation, as well as supporting the head office team to provide End User Compute services to staff.
The IT team is pivotal in supporting over 800 team members at our Western Sydney food manufacturing facility.
As a Technical Analyst, you will provide ongoing support on various IT related issues including infrastructure, applications, systems and network. You are a vital part of the operations team offering 1st & 2nd Level support on any technology issue, aiming to resolve with minimal impact to the plant.
About you and your skills:
We are looking for a dedicated IT Technical Analyst with experience within a fast-paced and complex manufacturing environment; a seasoned problem-solver across various IT platforms and systems; someone with a calm but confident disposition; able to relate to users from the factory floor to the C-suite.
You will have previous experience in IT relevant support functions offering Level 1 or 2 support within an enterprise scale organisation. Experience in a food manufacturing setting will give you a distinct advantage.
You'll also need:
Ability to problem-solve, handle tasks, and manage timelines.
Good communication and writing skills.
Ensure incidents are resolved in timely manner with minimal downtime.
Previous experience in a technical support role.
Experience in the triage and troubleshooting of incidents.
SQL skills to write & execute commands to extract data.
