The Role
The Technical Architect provides technical design and strategic advice to support the Branch, Divisional and PTA's technological and governance options relevant to achieving IT design and operational objectives. Furthermore, this role develops appropriate Technical Architecture elements for the PTA.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Substantial experience in many aspects of information technology, particularly in the development and deployment of modern corporate software and infrastructure solutions into a complex organisation.
- Considerable experience in the development of information technology Technical Architecture standards supporting documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical teams in the design and conduct of feasibility studies.
- Proven ability to provide strategic technical leadership in the development of business solutions and progressing technology opportunities.
- Well-developed analytical skills, including the ability to assess new technologies or systems in a complex corporate environment.
- Well-developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to prepare a range of technical documentation including information technology planning documents, strategic and operational plans, and business continuity plans.
