About the Role
The objective of the Modern Applications practice is to become the trusted partner for our customers in advising and delivering modern application solutions. Alongside developing & delivering solutions, you would be the primary technical contact for customers. The role would also require supporting the practice leads and sales team in pre-sales activities such as writing proposal, work estimation, customer presentation/demo.
This is a hybrid role with flexible work from home options & reports to the Head of Modern Applications. It may be based out of multiple locations within Australia with preference being Perth & Adelaide.
Main Duties
- Designing and implementing Azure Cloud applications & Integration based solutions following Microsoft's best practices
- Provide support to Delivery as the primary technical advisor by participating in technical (code) reviews, technical documentation, and remediation plans throughout all aspects of the software development life cycle
- Liaise closely with stakeholders and the wider project team in gathering requirements, agile ceremonies, user acceptance testing, and go live activities
- Share/presenting to the wider team to share knowledge/experience in project implementations.
- Provide support to Sales as the technical representative for Canon Business Services by attending / presenting at sales meetings, responding to tenders/RFPs.
- Identify improvement opportunities as well as adopting new methods and best practices for Canon Business Services’ clients.
- Attend onsite visits to clients when required.
About You
We are looking for someone who has experience in designing and delivering Azure Cloud applications-based solutions using Agile methodologies. They would possess proven analytical, troubleshooting & problem-solving skills.
The below criteria are essential for the role:
- 5+ years' development/architecture experience with Azure Cloud applications and its development tools, including but not limited to: - Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service
- Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid
- Azure OpenAI, Azure DevOps - Demonstrated experience in Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps
- Certification in Azure & experience in Azure IoT deployments automation using YAML templates via Azure DevOps is highly desirable
The below criteria are not mandatory but would be beneficial:
- Customer facing experience in consulting roles
- Azure certifications
- AZ-204: Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
- AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
- Experience in deployments automation using YAML templates via Azure DevOps
- Experience in Terraform
