AddressTechnical Auditor/Industry Coach
The Australian Glass and Window Association (AGWA), the peak body for the Australian glass and window industry, is seeking an experienced Technical Auditor/Industry Coach to join our team. AGWA is committed to improving compliance, standards and workmanship across all facets of the glass, glazing and windows industry. In this key role, you will ensure member’s products meet relevant standards through auditing and coaching. You will also provide expert opinion on fenestration products and installation as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel throughout NSW visiting members conducting on-site inspections
- Desktop audits of products, documentation, and processes to verify compliance with NCC, AS 2047, AS 1288, and other applicable standards.
- Contributing to expert reports and testimony regarding product conformity, compliance, installation, etc.
- Support the AGWA technical team and regulators in increasing awareness of industry compliance and best practices.
- Participate in industry training/seminars.
- Engage with members and prospects to increase awareness of AGWA support and services.
- Coach members on AGWA's business improvement tools and support programs such as our Accredited Company Program and Master Glazier programs.
- Attend the Pymble head office for training and occasional meetings
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive industry experience in glazing and/or window fabrication
- Excellent oral/written communication and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach
- Strong ability to identify root causes and provide solutions
- Comprehensive technical understanding of glass and windows
- Skilled at articulating member benefits to retain and acquire members
