Currently looking for a highly talented self-motivated Technical Business Analyst that is able to hit the ground running. This role is initially a 12 month contract.
You will be responsible for;
- Acting as the ‘bridge’ between Business Units and IT, and facilitate, via various modes of communication, a common understanding between all stakeholders with respect to the purpose, acceptance criteria and anticipated benefits of the project
- Drive elicitation of requirement phase as lead coordinator and technical writer
- Document the requirements gathered into the Functional / Business Specifications Document template
- Map ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes, by convening key stakeholders to participate in fact-finding workshops
- Document technical / system workflows and process diagrams
- Collaborate with Developer and Tester colleagues, to ensure that project Requirements are clear and understandable and, wherever possible, delivered correctly at the first attempt
- Conduct technical documentation peer review to ensure best practice Business analysis
- Identify and implement best practice continuous improvement initiatives to suit PMO needs
- Support internal and external testing activities as and when required
- Act as senior mentor and role model to team colleagues
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to working through issues
- Ability to adapt personal style to that congruent with the company culture
- Ability to demonstrate and propose new ideas as part of continual improvement in ensuring quality of product with adequate feedback looping mechanism.
Ideally you will have:
- 7+ years’ experience as Technical Business Analyst
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong influencing skills
- Must have strong experience with SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proven Experience in the discovery, analysis and documentation of systems integration requirements, as they relate to business process and data requirements.
- Demonstrated high level technical skill with regard to integration methods, frameworks, solutions design and analysis
- Support the Integration Team and the Business Process team in finalising the Integration and data aspects of the RTM, and High Level Designs.
- Principal contact between the business SME’s and the Program team with regard to integration issues.
- Exceptional business and technical communication skills, written, verbal and presentation
- Formal Degree qualifications in Computer Science desirable
- Provide process and analysis leadership as required.
- Knowledge and experience of the following technologies desirable;
Dell BoomMSFT D365 InterfacingSupply Chain SolutionsEDI, Banking, and Credit Card gateways and eco-systemsPrevious experience as a programmer or technologist an advantageEnd facing B2B or B2C website ordering systemsSAP AribaSAP Hybris Stibo Systems PIM
- A strong background in Technology projects, with demonstrable experience to understand systems and process landscapes quickly
- Comfortable with a fast paced, non-structured delivery approach
