Talent International is working in partnership with a government department, seeking a Technical Consultant with experience in Oracle Development.
Seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to help revolutionise local government agencies using industry leading technologies. As an Oracle Developer, you will be a key contributor to provide exceptional service both internal and external clients.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, large-scale projects that have a meaningful impact on the community within the NSW department.
Role Responsibilities:
- Development of system changes in accordance with specifications and standards, and within agreed timeframes, to meet customer requirements
- Produce technical documentation and documented evidence of testing for deployment releases
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify solution outcomes to resolve production incidents
- Use technical expertise to provide estimates and recommendations when assessing new development projects and initiatives
- Create system designs and technical specifications for new development requests
- Visit customer sites when required
- Maintain currency of skill set in PL/SQL and related technologies.
Experience in one or more of the following tools and technologies would be advantageous:
- SOAP web services using SOAPUI 2. REST APIs
- Linux Shell Scripting
- SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence
- Oracle Application Express (APEX)
Skill Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in Oracle PL/SQL
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Alignment to the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA): 1. Programming/software development (PROG Level 3) 2. Data modelling and design (DTAN Level 3) 3. Requirements definition and management (REQM Level 3)
