About the Role:
As the Technical Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end Technical Delivery for organisation's critical technology systems. You will lead a diverse team of multi-disciplinary technical specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and driving the achievement of both platform and organizational objectives. Be a trusted advisor, solve business problems, and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: manage and build high-performing team environment, provide ongoing direction, manage team performance, and champion continuous improvement.
- Relationship Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and align with the bank's strategy.
- Delivery: Manage the entire delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
- Quality: Advocate for quality at all stages, partner with vendors to ensure solutions meet requirements, and implement improvement plans.
Essential Requirements:
- Technical Delivery lead experience in the financial services industry (or highly regulated industries).
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of IT Service Management principles and practices.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies (PMBok, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Vendor management and relationship-building experience.
- Experience with enterprise or customer-facing technologies (highly regarded).
- Understanding of organizational change management.
- Strong problem-solving and accountability skills.
- Continuous learner with a desire to improve processes.
- Decisive and confident leader.
