We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Delivery Manager to join our Cyber Security & Risk team within Group Tech. The purpose of a Technical Delivery lead is to oversee and manage the technical aspects of delivering a project orsolution. This includes leading the technical team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the solution is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, managing technical risks, providing technical expertise and guidance, and ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
The technicaldelivery lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the project or solution, in partnership with the Program Manager. The tech delivery lead will also have significant input into defining and delivering the IAM strategy.
About youTo thrive in this role, a successful candidate should bring 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Technical Delivery Lead within a similar organisation, showcasing robust expertise in successfully delivering projects within Identity and Access Management (IAM). The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in collaborating with third-party vendors, adeptly cultivating enduring relationships that are integral to achieving success.
The following attributes will also help you to succeed in this role:
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, adept in both technical and business language.
- Ability to cut through complexity and think creatively at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Proven capability to swiftly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, motivate teams, set direction and approach, resolve conflicts, deliver tough messages with grace, and execute with limited information and ambiguity.
- Knowledge in an Agile environment or working with Agile teams/release trains.
