The Role:
There is now the vacancy for a Technical Development Manager to cover the northern region, consisting of Northern New South Wales and Queensland. Reporting to the General Manager – Portfolio & Innovation, you will be providing technical, development and registration support to the Australian business. This involves ensuring field trial projects are achieved on time, within budget and assisting with product registration submissions.
You will be communicating extensively with 3rd party trial operators, assessing data suitability and frequently interacting with global colleagues to ensure alignment with future development projects.
The Person:
To be considered for this largely autonomous role, candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:
- Ideally 5 years’ experience in technical, product development and commercial fields within the local agricultural agronomy sector, across broadacre and horticulture
- Relationship building and interpersonal communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills, a self-starter
- Broad knowledge of Crop Protection products and uses
- Technical knowledge of pesticide application and field trial work
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical data using ARM statistical software
- Appropriate university degree is preferred
