Multidisciplinary technical knowledge in areas like electrical, electronic, battery energy storage, renewable energy, system, mechanical, and civil engineering is desirable. The Technical Engineer will focus on utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) project development.
Key Responsibilities: In the context of BESS project development, the Technical Engineer is responsible for selecting and validating project technical solutions, covering functional and physical design aspects, within a project team. The role includes preparing technical offers with consideration for technical, financial, and lead time aspects. Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills are essential.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct studies for functional and physical product design, seeking optimal compromises for the project.
- Verify and validate project designs.
- Provide solutions to various project issues.
- Coordinate the multidisciplinary engineering team for project development.
- Manage Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery (SQCD) criteria, risks, and opportunities related to engineering deliverables.
- Organize internal and external technical meetings.
- Report engineering activity status to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager.
- Participate in updating cost estimations during the project.
- Negotiate product interfaces, requirements, and associated validation with the customer.
- Prepare, monitor, supervise, and test during the project installation and commissioning (I&C) stage.
