Technical Engineer

General Description: The Technical Engineer should possess an Engineering Degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, along with 8+ years of professional experience. Multidisciplinary technical knowledge in areas like electrical, electronic, battery energy storage, renewable energy, system, mechanical, and civil engineering is desirable. The Technical Engineer will focus on utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) project development.
Key Responsibilities: In the context of BESS project development, the Technical Engineer is responsible for selecting and validating project technical solutions, covering functional and physical design aspects, within a project team. The role includes preparing technical offers with consideration for technical, financial, and lead time aspects. Strong problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills are essential.
Key Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct studies for functional and physical product design, seeking optimal compromises for the project.
• Verify and validate project designs.
• Provide solutions to various project issues.
• Coordinate the multidisciplinary engineering team for project development.
• Manage Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery (SQCD) criteria, risks, and opportunities related to engineering deliverables.
• Organize internal and external technical meetings.
• Report engineering activity status to the Engineering Manager and Project Manager.
• Participate in updating cost estimations during the project.
• Negotiate product interfaces, requirements, and associated validation with the customer.
• Prepare, monitor, supervise, and test during the project installation and commissioning (I&C) stage.

This role demands a skilled Technical Engineer with a strong background in diverse engineering fields, capable of leading project development activities and ensuring the successful implementation of utility-scale battery energy storage systems.
