The Opportunity:
You will assist in managing a premium precinct in Melbourne's CBD. With a keen focus on sustainability, plus ongoing capital upgrades, this role will oversee contractor management and various upgrade projects.Working with a well-resourced in-house team, you will report to a Senior FM and deliver the maintenance and operations of building services, with autonomy to take control of your workload.
Your key accountabilities will include:
- Ensuring that assets are maintained in good repair, utilised in the most cost-effective manner and serviced following the statutory requirements whilst maintaining the highest level of safety and customer service.
- Helping to coordinate and run minor projects and tenancy fitouts including the scoping of works and appointment of contractors, through tenant engagement.
- Responding effectively to enquiries relating to the building and its performance, including coordinating specialist contractors and ensuring work is completed to a high standard of satisfaction.
- Contributing effectively to the team and working collaboratively to meet goals and deadlines.

Your Skills and Attributes:
- You will be an enthusiastic and proactive facility professional with at least 4 years of experience with a mechanical bias.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering capital upgrades and minor works projects.
- Understanding mandatory testing and legislative requirements.
- A team player who enjoys actively contributing and is focused on making a difference
- Good technical competency with trade or tertiary qualifications is ideal; ideally, mechanically oriented is preferred.
