The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and technical Facilities Manager, with a trade background and experience in a technical discipline (for example - mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, carpentry, engineering etc.). This role will sit across a diversified asset and key responsibilities will include:
- Budget Management: Develop and manage Capital and Operational Expenditure within budget and program guidelines.
- Cost Optimisation: Minimise total cost of ownership while ensuring safety, compliance, and aeronautical agreements.
- Asset Planning: Develop Asset Management Plans and maintenance agreements to meet safety, compliance, and availability targets.
- Stakeholder Support: Ensure landlord obligations are met and support stakeholder and tenant maintenance works 24/7.
- Team Leadership: Lead the hard services segment with two direct reports, driving operational excellence, contract management, and commercial outcomes.
- Safety and Compliance: Deliver safe, secure, and compliant asset maintenance for a superior tenant and traveler experience.
- Trade/technical background, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in complex operations environments and contract management.
- Financial management and commercial acumen.
- Knowledge of regulatory and statutory obligations related to facilities and safety.
- Property Asset Management experience is highly regarded but not essential.
