About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Facilities Manager with a strong background in HVAC, Electrical, or related trades to join a large and interesting cluster of the NSW State Government. This role is pivotal in providing technical and operational process support across a range of responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project management for various works, ensuring effective execution and delivery.
- Address base building issues, coordinating responses to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the maintenance of an asset register for all plant and equipment.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensure facilities comply with government regulations and standards for environmental, health, and security.
- Supervise projects related to base building, renovations, or refurbishments.
- Proven experience in facilities management with a strong technical background.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a facilities management role within a building/facilities management context.
- Trade qualifications in Electrical or HVAC.
- Knowledgeable in the operation and delivery of services like lifts, fire systems, and electrical systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce clear reports and strategic plans.
- Organised, methodical, and capable of making informed decisions independently while seeking advice when necessary.
