About your role:
Empower Sydney Water users to access and use the authorised data and generate the actionable insights from the relevant BI solutions, promote the trust in data and improve the data literacy maturity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Provide Technical Leadership in BI reporting solution.
- Champion the best practice in BI reporting within the team and promote it to the Sydney Water BI community.
- Coach team members on BI reporting technical skill when required.
- Triage BI reporting issues and assign the BI reporting work to the team according to their capability.
- Liaise with stakeholders to uncover the true needs of Business Intelligence solutions.
- Engage power users to understand the business context and provide BI consultancy accordingly.
- Build data modelling to be consumed by the reports/dashboard.
- Develop business intelligence report/dashboard according to the requirement.
- Coordinate, prepare and lead BI Analytics trainings to increase the organisational data literacy.
- Influence and educate Sydney Water users on the best practice in self-service report.
- Enhance internal customers’ experience with BI solutions by providing timely and customer centric resolution to the technical issues.
- Collaborate with other digital stakeholders/project teams to deliver high quality BI analytics solutions.
- Ensure BI solutions maintainability by keeping BI analytics documentation up to date and conducting peer review on BI solutions.

About you
- Azure certificate,
- Databrick certificate,
- Power BI Certificate
- SAP Analytics Cloud Certificate
- SAP BI, BW and HANA certified
- Track record of successfully implementing multiple Analytics projects (full life cycle) in challenging environments with minimum of seven years of across the stages of the lifecycle.
- Advanced skills in developing dashboards/reports with SAP Webi, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud
- Strong in data warehousing and data modelling concepts.
- Minimum 10 years of leading BI and data Warehousing experience with SAP and Non-SAP applications; in both on-premise and cloud environment
- Experienced with BI Development in Azure and databrick.
- Experienced in supporting users on self-service reporting.
- Experienced in capturing business intelligence requirements from business stakeholders.
- Ability to present complex information in a clear and precise manner, with non-technical audience.
- Confident in providing input/feedback to solution architects and solution designers, operational support personnel for continuous improvement based upon design / operational experience.
- Experience and confidence in interacting with multiple support/projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or Engineering
