The role As the Technical Lead for Maximo Asset Management, your role is to provide strategic direction, Technical Leadership, and innovative solutions utilizing IBM Maximo and associated frameworks and technologies. This includes supporting and developing current and future state architectures, solutions design, providing guidance, and sharing best practices to the technical and functional teams while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
By driving excellence in strategies, systems, and standards, you will play a pivotal role in advancing asset technology within the organization while ensuring seamless operations, effective communication, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
What will I be doing?
Utilise industry-leading practices and methodologies to provide strategic direction, Technical Leadership, and innovative solutions utilising IBM Maximo and associated frameworks and technologies.
Collaborate with the Head of Technology to develop and drive strategies for Asset Management systems, emphasizing best practices and standards.
Build and maintain strong relations within with key internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, other water industry communities, councils, and relevant parties.
Cultivating an atmosphere of innovation, collaboration, and providing strong Technical Leadership for the development of the team.
Proactively mentoring and steering the development of a knowledge base and community of practice around technical expertise, frameworks, and best practices.
About You
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attributes:
Strong proficiency in Maximo(preferred) or other relevant Asset management platforms.
Strong understanding of IT Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Solution Architecture.
Exceptional client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools for seamless integration, deployment, and management.
IBM Certification - Maximo Asset Management V7.6 (Desirable)
Experience working with Maximo mobility and MAS 8 V.X.

The role is classified as a Senior Manager, and the Total Remuneration Package (TRP) is $162,000 (inclusive of 11% superannuation)
