As we continue to expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Technical / OEMDoor HardwareSales Representative to join our team.

The Role

As a Technical / OEMDoor HardwareSales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by nurturing relationships with cabinet makers, builders, designers, and end users across Sydney. Your expertise in Door Hardware solutions, coupled with exceptional communication skills, will enable you to provide tailored recommendations and technical support, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with cabinet makers, builders, designers, and end users.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with OEM partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market segments.
  • Provide expert guidance on Door Hardware solutions, including product selection and customization options.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to clients, showcasing the features and benefits of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales and support teams to address client inquiries and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Skills and Experience Needed

  • Proven track record of success in technical / OEM sales, preferably within the Door Hardware or construction industry.
  • Deep understanding of Door Hardware products, including locks, handles, hinges, and accessories.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Australia to meet with clients and attend events as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
