Temporary Part Time Part Year position 

The salary range is $72,031 to $79,508, (pro rata/this salary will be based on the part time hours you complete). Plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

Bring your current industry experience and technical knowledge in Nursing and join our vibrant delivery team in this exciting 2 year temporary, part time part year, opportunity based at Dubbo campus. This is a campus based role and the successful candidate must be able to work on site. On a daily basis, you may be responsible for preparing, designing/constructing, demonstrating, and maintaining various equipment, technology, instruments, and /or other resources to support the educational delivery of our Nursing section.

About You

You are a passionate individual who prides yourself on organisational skills and the ability to maintain competing demands in a high workload environment. You have technical experience in the Nursing/Health sector, with a focus on technical knowledge and practical experience. You have the ability to work unsupervised, with advanced knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and techniques used in the Nursing sector. You are committed to maintaining industry and technical expertise and have a passion for sharing this knowledge with your peers.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following essential requirements:

  • Currently registered Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current nursing practice, including the use of appropriate equipment in nursing procedures, medical terminology and infection control principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in administration, including inventory management, purchase and maintenance of equipment, and basic financial recording.
  • The ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description

Desirable

  • Skills in the use of relevant information and communication technologies, in particular Excel.
