AddressOur client is a leader in the energy sector and requires the assistance of a Senior Technical Project Manager to join their GIS program.
As a senior Project Manager, you will have experience with Azure and GIS Solutions, in particular with ESRI ArcGIS and cloud platforms.
You will be joining an inflight Program of work where they are moving an existing ESRI implementation to Azure and enabling field maps. You will also have demonstrated experience in Governance and Data Migration.
This is a 6 month initial contract with a view to extend.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design and implement a GIS data governance framework to enable the spatial team to deliver spatial services to the business, and mitigate risks associated with gis data governance challenges.
- Delivery of both technical and business-facing solutions utilising the latest ESRI ArcGIS capabilities.
- Management of Financials, Schedule, Resource management & Reporting.
- Risk and issues management.
- Undertake and complete procurement activities for required products and technical resource services.
- Ensure Architecture and system design compliance aligns with our clients process.
- Ongoing delivery phase planning & execution.
- Management of project decision points and stage gates.
- Operational Readiness of implemented solutions, environments and capabilities and handover to operational teams.
About you:
- Demonstrated ability to plan, and then execute against own plans
- Ability to identify and then solve own problems within delegated projects
- Ability to directly engage with Manager and GM levels without support
- Significant practical project management experience with demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
- Project Management qualified
