MAK Industrial Water Solutions is a national water & waste Water Treatment specialist. MAK Water designs & manufactures a wide range of Water Treatment plants at its Perth workshop, and supports its customers with a network of service teams across Australia.
We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of Water Treatment plants, with a wide range of technologies, and a strong future order book for plants to be installed in Australia and overseas. With branches across Australia we ensure a high level of operational and maintenance support for our clients.
THE ROLE
This exciting role is an opportunity to join the sales team of one of Australia’s leading manufacturers of industrial Water Treatment plants. You will be joining a motivated team of experienced professionals who will support you with on-the-job training and coaching.
The primary focus of this role is to achieve new projects sales in WA and internationally; your success will be rewarded with unlimited earning potential.
This position will be based at our MAK Water Malaga office. The sales team works closely with our internal engineering team, international partners and suppliers to design customer focused solutions and deliver competitive tenders and business proposals.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the successful applicant will:
- Develop strong relationships with existing and future clients
- Qualify and manage sales leads
- Communicate with suppliers and develop winning solutions
- Utilise the CRM system to manage the sales process
- Prepare and present client proposals
- Negotiate commercial agreements with clients
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Be motivated to achieve sales outcomes
- Strong organisational skills
- Have an ability and curiosity to develop knowledge in technical products (technical and on the job training will be provided)
- Experience in business to business selling. Industrial capital sales experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to think critically/technically to assist clients
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with customers from operations staff through to the CEO and board.
