Technical Service Operative

We are currently searching for a Technical Service Operative to join our Kalgoorlie Warehouse. This role will be supporting our Product Customers. We are looking for candidates who are driven, with a strong commitment to Health & Safety, and have a strong team focus. This role is Monday-Friday with occasional overtime as required.

Want to know a little more about the role? Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Sharpening of drill bits/refurbishment of drill consumables to maximise product life and performance,
• General store person duties,
• Working within a small team,
• Supporting underground contracts in the area,
• Visiting mine sites and driving underground, visiting drill rigs to replenish drill consumables,
• Maintaining a safe, neat and tidy working area at all times and keeping equipment in good working order,
• Assist the team in meeting EH&S goals,
• Assisting with stock takes and cycle counts,
• General administration tasks.

A few other things we’re looking for:

• Prior warehousing experience
• Forklift License
• Current C Class Manual Driver’s License
• Intermediate computer literacy with Excel experience
• Right to work in Australia and a resident of Kalgoorlie
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including fitness testing) and pass an alcohol and drug test
• First Aid Certificate (preferred but not essential)
• Underground experience (hard rock mining / drilling) (advantageous but not essential)
• Experience/knowledge of percussive drilling consumables (advantageous but not essential)
