The Technical Services Engineer will be expected to:
- Promote the technical and performance characteristics of products and make market development calls with other team members and Regional Managers.
- Have ability to lead, plan and prioritize work commitments in an environment where communication to the Regional Manager and Peers is expected to be positive, purposeful, and proactive.
- Provide a high level of technical analysis, assessment and advice on existing installed equipment, potential products, and projects as well as competitive offerings.
- Actively seek out and identify equipment upgrades and new sales opportunities initially in South Australia (but not limited to) for both Sales and Service situations in a ‘hands on’ role where expectations are to do what it takes to exceed Customer requirements.
- Conduct onsite programmed maintenance and provide breakdown intervention as required.
- Attends key account meetings, trade shows, and other pertinent meetings as requested to provide technical expertise.
- Engage with Customers and internal Service Team to proactively promote, propose, implement, and complete Service-related tasks as needed.
