An exciting opportunity exists for a Technical Support Manager to lead and manage a team of technical specialists in supporting capital infrastructure programs and delivering planned and corrective maintenance in accordance with legislative instruments and industry standards.

Capital Assets and Infrastructure (CAI) delivers building and engineering maintenance services, medical equipment replacement, capital asset replacement and new building and engineering initiatives across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) footprint reaching from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in senior staff Performance Appraisal and Development (PAD) and engage in continuous learning and workplace improvement and innovation.
- Understand your broad accountability for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and ensure notifications are distributed to relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Provide technical and expert advice in relation to building and compliance in line with statutory regulations and obligations.
- Prepare, present and review evidence, reports, and submissions to make appropriate recommendations in accordance with legislative requirements and regulations to inform decision making.
Remuneration value up to $176,878 p.a., comprising salary between $146,510 - $155,025 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO8).
