Primary objective
Provide high level, specialised technical analysis to effectively evaluate processes and methods used in corporate systems in
accordance with Service Development Life Cycle (SDLC), to identify relevant modifications and/or additional system
components that meet client agency needs.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Prepare clear functional and technical specifications based on system requirements and industry best practices.
2. Develop a deep understanding of the technical environment and the business cases used to support system
developments.
3. Act as a conjugate between system analysts and technical staff on HR System matters.
4. Ensure that all project tasks are completed and correct in accordance with standards and specifications.
5. Operate as a review system for the business to help analyse business needs and clarifying business rules and processes
within our solutions.
6. Validate development outcomes, including the use of testing tools and management of User Acceptance Testing.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Extensive knowledge and experience in the development of functional and technical specifications/stories, including the
use of Business Process Maps (BPM) and Unified Modelling Language (UML), in a HR Systems environment or similar.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience in SDLC and as an Agile Scrum Master.
3. Experience in management of Test Automation and related test cases.
4. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation, written communication,
managing conflicting prioritisation-resolution and problem-solving abilities.
5. Exceptional collaborative skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and sustain productive working relationships.
6. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest,
respectful and innovative.
Desirable
1. Appropriate tertiary qualification in information technology or other relevant discipline.
2. Certification in or demonstrated knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
