The Group Aftersales team is focused on delivering an exceptional ownership experience for customers with Volkswagen, Škoda, CUPRA and Audi vehicles. The team works closely with our dealer network to ensure vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance, spare parts, accessories, technical support and customer care are delivered to the highest standards for our customers.
About your new Role
This role is for a professional well versed in training and development programs with a passion for the automotive industry and dealer operations. This role will be based out of our training facility in Chullora and from time to time our Zetland Head office. This position will focus on delivering and developing the Technical Training programs that will increase the automotive skill and knowledge within the dealer network and enhance our service to customers.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparation, delivery and assessment of Technical Training courses in line with Volkswagen Group training requirements.
- Maintain up to date records of student enrolment, course participation and outcomes.
- Strictly adhere to quality management systems and processes
- Identify and understand specific Learning & Development (L&D) requirements for relevant parties and develop new training material
- Identify and understand knowledge gaps in the Dealer Network and design appropriate programs to address these gaps
- Manage interpersonal and commercial relationships with external stakeholders such as travel and accommodation providers (for attendees)
- Adhere to all WHS requirements for the areas of responsibility
About you To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:
- A qualification within training or learning and development preferred
- Qualified Motor technician or practical technical mechanical experience required
- An understanding or passion for the automotive industry, in particular Volkswagen Group products
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Computer literacy and exposure to multiple systems such as learning management systems like Canvas and Job ready
- Passionate, enthusiastic and motivating individual determined to inspire and coach others
