A real endeavour, shaped by you
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer who will focus on the delivery of post Gate 2 material and documentation that may arise during the execution and delivery of the project deliverables. The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated Defence and project personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following:
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
Develop required documentation for progression through the Defence Capability Lifecycle (CLC)
Deliver high quality capability documentation to enable the project to attain Initial Material Release (IMR), Initial Operational Capability (IOC), and Final Operational Capability (FOC) on time and budget
Demonstrated strong communication skills with a focus on stakeholder engagement and management
Self-motivated and posses the ability to work under limited supervision to achieve directed project/capability outcomes
You will also demonstrate experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: System Engineering, geospatial capability, CASG project experience and Test & Evaluation (T&E) planning.
A real endeavour, driven by you
We’re looking for:
Geospatial and/or Army, or Maritime background with a deep understanding of ASDEFCON processes and defence contracting
Previous experience in developing CLC safety cases, and other engineering technical documents, as well and Defence project documentation drafting and submissions
Formal qualifications from a recognised tertiary institute or relevant industry experience
More than anything, you’ll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to provide administrative support for our projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.
