We are Australia's largest pure-play coal producer generating over $10 billion in Foreign Direct Investment; owning, operating or participating in coal mines across NSW, Queensland and Western Australia.
New South Wales' Gloucester Basin is home to the Stratford Duralie operation, producing high fluidity semi-hard coking and thermal coals.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Yancoal's Stratford Duralie Operation is currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Maintenance Technician to become a valued member of our team at Stratford Coal. Working a Monday to Friday rotating Day/ Afternoon Shift roster, you will be responsible for the execution of planned maintenance; breakdown repairs and machine rebuilds. This role is a great opportunity to contribute to productivity and continuous improvement initiatives in mobile equipment maintenance and rebuild areas of our business. You will be working on the following equipment; Trucks (Cat 785), Water Carts, Cat Graders, Track Dozers, D10T, Komatsu WA900 Loader, Liebherr 994B & Hitachi 2600 Excavators & Atlas Copco Drills.

To be successful in the role you will also display the following skills and attributes:
Essential Criteria:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification;
- Proven Heavy Industry experience;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Proven ability to work safely in a team environment;
- Proven diagnostic/fault finding experience across the mobile fleet;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality work;
- Ability to problem solve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
