We are seeking a capable person who is able to work across the various Technology areas of the College (Wood, Metal, Plastics, Systems, Construction and Textiles) preparing materials for use in classes.
The successful applicant would have their time shared across the above areas which are all located in the one area of the College.

Technology Assistant - The Arts
The part-time role is 3 days of 6 hours per day/18 hours per week, commencing in Term 2 involves diverse responsibilities in supporting The Arts department. Tasks include assisting with the collection, distribution, and maintenance of musical, visual art, performance equipment, and preparing equipment for classes.
This extends to organising and loading equipment for external performances, setting up musical gear, and ensuring functional IT equipment and classrooms in collaboration with Potato-shed staff.
The position requires a willingness to learn new skills, such as stringing guitars, to assist specialist staff, and training will be provided. Additionally, it involves managing specialist resources, including art supplies and equipment, assisting with practical classes, providing technical and creative advice, and overseeing stock and supplies. Beyond technical duties, the role supports faculty promotion and student displays, including online gallery maintenance, scanning student artwork, and participating in art exhibitions and community events.
