THE OPPORTUNITY:  Reporting directly to the Group Manager Digital technology, the Technology Infrastructure Lead will oversee the Technology Infrastructure and Network team for Pilbara Minerals, by managing, improving and optimising system performance in Technology Infrastructure including server, data centre and network (LAN and WAN) as well as fibre. This is a permanent full-time role based at our Corporate office in West Perth. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Managing and ensuring optimal operation and availability of related IT/OT infrastructure including server and data centre, virtual infrastructure (VMware), network & communication assets, fibre optic services, facilities and supporting services. Coordinating work of the infrastructure team to ensure appropriate system support and maintenance tasks are executed efficiently to maximize up time. Management of business recovery (disaster recovery) plans, backup strategy and periodic backups. Managing the selection and procurement of infrastructure related hardware, services and related software as per business requirements. Responding to unplanned service interruption requests as defined and agreed by response levels and priority. Infrastructure Asset Management Ensuring system documentation and associated maintenance plans for Technology Infrastructure and related assets including, facilities and data centres are up-to-date and stored in appropriate knowledge repositories. Ensure fit-for-purpose maintenance plans are in place for critical technology assets and equipment. Oversee the execution maintenance plans, and associated schedule testing ensuring testing is communicated and appropriate processes followed. ABOUT YOU: Tertiary qualified in information technology, computer science or similar along with being a Microsoft certified professional and other industry certifications such as VMware, Cisco, Juniper Experience supporting large and complex Technology Infrastructure, ideally for a 24/7 production environment Server and storage experience, LAN / WAN communications, DR and data centre management experience Technically minded with an ability to effectively lead and communicate at all levels Demonstrated successful leadership of small to medium teams to drive performance Ability to perform detailed technical troubleshooting of system issues and summarize for action internal or vendor support teams WHAT WE OFFER Excellent remuneration package and eligible to participate in the company’s quarterly and annual incentive schemes.
