About the role
Reporting directly to the CIO, this role is responsible for managing Nanosonics global portfolio of technology projects. Partner with global teams to provide sound governance and oversight of projects and programs to ensure they are completed within timeframe, scope and budget. Join us at a very exciting time as we undergo a transformational ERP re-implementation.
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
- Manage the global technology portfolio or projects using hybrid Agile Waterfall methodologies
- Work to project management methodology (PMBOK, PRINCE2)
- Manage program increments for the IT portfolio adopting an Agile framework
- Act as point of contact for global ERP re-implementation project (D365)
- Build strong relationships with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels across global teams
- Work with global teams across time zones to ensure project deadlines and deliverables
- Champion strong IT governance and mentor project managers
About you
We are seeking a dynamic and highly accomplished Project or Program Manager with a wealth of experience in managing large scale, global ERP implementations and a broad variety of technology projects, ideally with experience working within highly regulated industries. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to bring together diverse groups to ensure effective and harmonious project outcomes.
- 10+ years’ experience in IT change management
- Demonstrated experience in setting up a Program Office or Agile Tribes and Squads delivery model in consultation with technology domain experts
- Experience in a medical device or a similarly regulated industry (ISO13485 or similar)
- In depth experience in managing projects, coupled with an understanding of the requirements to achieve well managed implementations.
- An ability to coach and mentor other team members
- A strong commercial focus and understanding of business drivers
- A highly skilled influencer and negotiator who can head off potential conflicts within project teams
- Ability to methodically analyse issues and work with SMEs to resolve them
