Role: Technology & Data Portfolio Delivery Manager
Location: Sydney 2000 - WFH/WFO
Type: Contract 
Duration: Initial 6 month contract, part of a potential 24 month program roadmap 
Rate: $1300/day including super 

Role Overview:

This role will suit a true technologist leader who has evolved from a technical engineering and architecture background into project and program management, excelling in stakeholder management and strategic delivery.

As the Technology & Data Portfolio Delivery Program Manager, you will spearhead the end-to-end delivery of the technology and data project portfolio.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that project delivery plans are aligned with both legacy systems and target state transitions.

Your leadership will be critical in managing dependencies, vendor relationships, and operational support implications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology and data projects, managing dependencies, vendors, and risks.
• Provide technical delivery leadership, including systems and vendor product integration, data migration, and analytics.
• Drive planning and delivery cadence for the portfolio, managing interlocks, scrum-of-scrums, and risk management.
• Manage conflicting priorities, including shared resources, release schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide executive reporting and stakeholder management for key decision-making and alignment.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise PMO to enforce standardised ways of working and execution governance across the portfolio.

Must Have:

• Experienced in managing complex technology and data portfolios or programs.
• Experience designing and building data-intensive solutions, highly scalable enterprise platforms, and mobile products is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of delivering complex technology and data platforms in regulated environments. Skilled in converting business needs into technical requirements and optimising vendor management to enhance technology and data outcomes.
• Extensive experience in overseeing interconnected technology project portfolios and programs. Proficient in working with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverable commitments are met and obstacles are removed.
• Demonstrated capability in handling complex technology and data trade-offs to achieve project and commercial goals.
• Risk and Issue Management: Superior ability in planning, forecasting, and mitigating risks within technically intricate portfolios and programs.
• Financial Acumen: Proven track record in managing portfolio budgets and addressing financial risks and opportunities.
