Currently we are looking for a Project Support Co-ordinator for our fantastic client to join the Canberra based team as part of the Information Security Office. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
About the Role:
As a Project Support Co-ordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of Cyber Security projects. You'll work closely with the Project Manager and team members, providing invaluable administrative and logistical support while gaining firsthand experience in the world of cybersecurity.
Location and Contract Term:
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT.
Initial contract for 12 months fixed term with the opportunity to be extended.
Responsibilities:
- Project Administration:
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, risk registers, and action items.
- Organize and attend project meetings, taking comprehensive minutes and actioning follow-up tasks.
- Prepare presentations and reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Manage project communication, updating stakeholders and maintaining internal information flow.
- Logistics and Support:
- Coordinate travel arrangements and bookings for project team members.
- Facilitate resource procurement and vendor management.
- Manage internal databases and systems related to project execution.
- Research and gather information to support project planning and decision-making.
- Provide general administrative support to the project team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capability to prepare detailed reports periodically and ad-hoc, drawing from a range of reference materials.
- Ability to make decisions independently with moderate complexity and under limited supervision.
- Proficiency analysing reports and information to identify and contribute to issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic Project management experience, preferably using methodologies like PRINCE2 Agile or PMBOK.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Basic understanding of Cyber Security or Enterprise Technology concepts is preferred.
- Security clearance to a relevant level will be required (specific level to be confirmed during interview).
