The Customer Engagement Technology, Technology Service Owner is responsible for the CIO management of a number of applications within the portfolio.

The role will also perform a number of responsibilities for the appropriate village within CE Technology related to change in Run and acceptance of squad change delivery into run.
(At this time there is the 1 Virtual Banking Village that requires the capability).
The role will also act as a delegate for the Technology Domain Owner (TDO) when unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the health of the application portfolio including but not limited to
- Risk & Issue Management (Juno Issues & Incidents, EOL, EoS, Currency issues, ISG Non exceptions)
- Cost management & cost reduction
- Service availability improvements with Service Management
- Application ongoing requirements & relevance, opportunity to decommission
- Documentation currency (Alfabet, Support documentation)
- Manage the work of the L3 team to ensure the delivery of priority activities and outcomes.
- Reporting on KPIs related to the Run deliverables and facilitating meetings to update stakeholders.
- Review and input into the Enterprise & Execution roadmap for the applications
- Work with the accountable TDO to raise application issues and submissions for funding for remediation & currency updates, with the accountable Business Outcomes owner (BOO) representatives.
- Attend and represent the applications responsible for, in the appropriate Front door engagement forums to assess and understand new requests for functionality changes to the applications from business product owner & projects
- Represent these requests in appropriate Village prioritisation & estimation sessions for cost, effort & duration to deliver
- Working with Business Service Owners & Business Application owners to understand and set expectations, priorities, and backlogs, for the applications within scope within the portfolio.
- Lead improvement suggestions for the improvement of our application health & currency and provide support other Technology Service Owners within the CBB CIO Domain to ensure consistency.
- Build relationships with product vendors that we use with our applications where appropriate.

- Work with the TDO to be the single point of Technology contact for CE business
- broader technology requests and assistance with escalation on systemic issues
- change being delivered by other Tech teams such as Workplace, Collaboration, Secure Network Services etc, impacting the CE business.
- Represent CE Technology for sending initial communication & updates on outages & degraded performance for the key applications used by the CE business, these applications may or maybe not owned by CE Technology.

What do I need?
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management & maintenance
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels (including external and internal Suppliers). This includes proven experience building successful relationships across teams and suppliers to effectively manage critical path dependencies and escalations.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to analyse a situation and consider all options available to you to create and implement a successful solution.
Monitoring tools - Splunk, AppDynamics, Aternity, ServiceNow
Technical & operational tools - Jenkins technical tool, Jira, Confluence, Juno, Java and .NET as the apps are based on these technologies.
