Telecommunication Engineer

We design,build, supply and maintain wireless, and copper networks and products for the region’s leading operators andprovide infrastructure solutions for the telecommunications sector working on major 5G and IBC rollouts.
The Role:
We are seeking experienced Telecommunication Engineers to join our team based at Bangholme, Victoria.Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a range of Telecommunications/Wireless projects.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Manage site construction and technology integration on time and on budget.
Regular client reporting, meetings, and building relationships/trust to exceed customer expectations.
Complete budget and BOQ based on site photos, FC and other design document.
Identifying and analyzing problems and needs of existing telecommunications systems, intelligibility and clarity,to determine the most appropriate means of reducing, eliminating and avoiding current and future problemsand improve communications.
Monitoring telecommunications systems to assess need for updates, upgrades, enhancements, preventivemaintenance.
Arranging and ordering steelwork and NON-FIM material based on design document.
Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures in the provision of telecommunicationssystems selecting and developing new telecommunications sites by locating sites, filing documents, drawing up documents for approval, drafting construction drawings and following through to approval
You are familiar with vendors’ equipment, such as, Nokia, Ericsson, Ceragon and NEC this will be desirable.
Planning, designing, building, configuring and commissioning telecommunications devices, networks andsystems, such as voice, radio, two-way, data, microwave, satellite and digital data systems, and ensuring telecommunications systems interconnect with equipment from different manufacturers, service providers andusers.
Compiling engineering project proposals to identify scope, background and need, and ascertain cost ofequipment, parts and services.
Evaluating and procuring new services from vendors
Close the job with customer by getting document acceptance and payment after job completion.
End-to-end site delivery and finance management with internal and external stakeholders.
Managing field teams and subcontractors.
Liaise with 3rd party services, crane, EWP, roof plumbers and traffic controllers.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet required deadlines whilst maintaining a high quality of work.
Hold a relevant Bachelor's degree or a higher qualification, plus at least two (2) years of post-qualificationexperience, OR a total of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in a Project Engineer role with proven delivery experience on Telecommunications projects
Self-motivated and the ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
A recognised project management qualification and PMP or similar will be desirable.
Experience conducting ‘deep dive” investigations and making recommendations.
