About The Role
The Telecommunication Networking Engineering Intern will support our engineering team in designing, implementing, and maintaining our telecommunications networks. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects, develop technical skills, and gain valuable industry insights.
Roles And Responsibilities
Assist in the design and configuration of telecommunication networks, including LAN, WAN, and wireless systems Support the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls Participate in monitoring and optimizing network performance to ensure high reliability and efficiency Help develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects and initiatives Provide technical support to end-users and assist in resolving network-related issues Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends in telecommunications and networking
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs) Familiarity with network equipment and tools (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Wireshark) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards challenges
