Telecommunication Technician - Apprentice

Our client operates a successful Electrical and Communication business located in Wagga Wagga.

They are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate keen to join their team as a 1st Year Apprentice Telecommunication Technician.

The Role

This role comes with a lot of variety and will expose you to all aspects of the trade however focussing on Data, Fire and Security Telecommunication systems.

Your responsibilities will include;

Installation of telecommunication systems.
Fault find and repair systems.
Read and interpret plans.
Work efficiently and safely within WHS guidelines.
Testing Maintenance and service of telecommunication services.

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

• Be prepared for physical work,
• Possess the ability to follow instructions,
• Have good communication skills,
• Take pride in workmanship
• Be motivated and enthusiastic
• Be able to work well in a team situation.
• Must hold a current WHS White Card
• Have access to appropriate transport.
• Ability to commit to a 48 month Apprenticeship

Working full time Monday - Friday, you will be given time on the job to attend TAFE.
