Due to the rapid growth in NSW, we are looking for a Full-time Telecommunications Technical Specialist to join our Sydney team for Network, Infrastructure and End user services. In this role you will deliver high quality technical support in these domains and help with service operation responsibilities of change, problem, incident and availability management. This role will also be responsible for the coordination of service delivery activities of service providers to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
• Gathering system requirements, designing system and implementing at customers sites
• Installation, upgrade and commissioning of Mobile infrastructure such as RBS/BTS, Fibre connections and RF components
• Testing of systems
•Commission, integration and testing the 4G and 5G base stations for Ericsson and Nokia equipment
• Documenting deployment procedures.
• Monitoring internal and external infrastructure
• Oversee the provision of specialist advice from multiple sources, including third party experts and service providers to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements and optimal service delivery;
• Optimization and performance monitoring of telecommunications networks, diagnosis and repair of faults, and the selection and installation of equipment.
• Patching the systems update for both customers and internal
• Development and planning customer access network infrastructure
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies
• Develop and record logs of the details, locations and statuses of inventories, parts, equipment and instruments and maintains the documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, and quality standards.
Essential requirements:
• Relevant Diploma or higher in the industry and/or at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years full time work experience
• Hands on implementation with vendors such as: Simpro, Cisco, Microsoft, F5, HP, etc..
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work in numerous sites
• Basic troubleshooting skill
• Field service experience
• Familiar with Wireless network and communication rooms
