Currently based in Victoria with presence in Queensland, with the ability to service Clients Australia wide. We have a highly skilled team with over 40 staff members.
About the Job
Due to expansion in our industry, we are seeking a Telecommunications Rigger to join our crew.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Monday to Friday with overtime and at times weekend work.
- Office located in Craigieburn.
- Working within Melbourne metro and regionally across Australia.
- Must be able to travel from 1 day to 2 weeks to different projects/sites.
Reporting to the Rigging Supervisor the position will involve:
- Erecting new telecom structure i.e., Towers, monopole
- Upgrading existing 4G and 5G networks.
- Working at heights to install new equipment.
- Running new cable and plumbing in.
- Erecting steelwork.
- Ensuring installation is inline with technical specifications.
- Commissioning and testing of installed hardware including fault finding.
About You
- Previous experience working in the telecommunication or construction industry.
- Basic knowledge in the use of hand tools.
- Willing to learn new skills.
- Physically fit and able to climb and lift.
- Be able to work outdoors (rain, hail or shine).
- Able to take direction and follow WHS.
- Great technical problem solving skills.
- Great communication and organisational skills.
- An understanding of quality, safety and environmental systems and principals.
- Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word.
Qualifications/Tickets/Licenses
- Australian driver's license (requires) (truck licence desirable)
- National Police Check
- White card
- Working at heights tickets (required)
- Tower Rescue (desirable)
- First aid & CPR (desirable)
- Basic rigging ticket (required)
