The role of the Manager (Strategic Procurement) is to manage the development and implementation of a collaborative procurement and delivery model within the Collaborative Transport Infrastructure Program (CTIP). The role will contribute to the development of policies, strategies and systems as well as providing high level policy and strategy advice to senior management.
Some of your responsibilities will include: - Provide leadership in the identification, analysis, research and development of advice, strategies, legislation, policy, programs and options.- Build, maintain and support internal and external relationships and collaborative networks to ensure the CTIP is delivered with stakeholder support.- Manage and lead a program of work to contribute to strategic policy processes by monitoring interstate and overseas research/outcomes on trends, best practice and performance.- Prepare and oversee the development of complex documents, correspondence and research papers.- Proactively manage all aspects working within a dynamic project team environment ensuring program performance and outcomes are achieved.Mandatory qualifications and conditions- Criminal history screening will be conducted on the recommended person for the role.
Highly desirable qualifications and conditions- Experience in infrastructure procurement and delivery that includes engagement with designers, contract administrators, suppliers and principal contractors.- Experience working in and supporting a project team in a fast-moving environment.
