Position Descriptor:
Ernabella Anangu School is part of a remote Aboriginal Community on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Lands.
These positions involve teaching years R-6. One class position is R/1/2 with LGU support and the other is a 4/5 class. Pitjantjatja Language and Cultural Education are key components of the learning program. There is a strong focus of Australian Curriculum and developing literacy and numeracy skills of EALD students. All teachers work closely with Anangu Educators to deliver all aspects of the curriculum. Working in an Anangu setting can be isolating so it is important to be able to work both as an individual and as a member of a team. Accommodation is likely to be in a shared house. Ernabella is a great place to live and work.
In addition to the salary, the following financial incentives apply:
