Principal responsibilities of the role include:
- Provision of leadership, guidance and support to all staff through the effective coordination of a range of activities such as workload and workforce management and planning, that support service delivery vision and strategic priorities.
- Liaise with sensitivity and judgement in consultations with tenants and negotiations with service providers. Conducting property audits and assisting in the development of the scope of upgrade works.
- Liaise with tenants, service providers and area office staff in all aspects of urban renewal upgrades ensuring customer service demands are met.
- Monitor current work in respect to quality, contractual agreements and scheduling, and informing management of any delays or unexpected issues.
- Present project reports and overviews to tenancy groups, public and other stakeholders as required.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with tenants, service providers and tenancy groups in relation to proposed refurbishment work.
- Inform tenants of relocation opportunities and provide an overview of urban renewal programs.
- Document and maintain photographic and written records of project work and consultation details.
- Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with stakeholders.
- Lead and ensure you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
