We are looking to appoint a casual or part time Tennis Coach to continue building and promoting the Tennis business at Centennial Parklands Sports Centre. A key component of the role is to help develop and work with the community and its needs.

Clublinks operates Moore Park Golf and Centennial Parklands Sports Centre within the Moore Park Precinct on behalf of the Centennial Parklands and Moore Park Trust (Trust). The Moore Park Precinct located in central Sydney and has thrived in recent times; growing substantially year on year and continuously enhancing its offer, customer experience and improving business performance.
Centennial Parklands Sports Centre has recently undergone substantial upgrades and presents 11 courts in the prime CBD/Eastern suburbs location of Centennial Parklands.
The Role
The Tennis Coach will be required to have availability Monday to Saturday (at peak coaching times) We are looking for casuals/part timers.
Reporting to the Venue Manager responsibilities will include:
- Conduct individual and group coaching sessions—junior and adult—focusing on technical proficiency and tactical strategies.
- Organise and supervise practice sessions, drills, and match play scenarios.
- Monitor and evaluate player progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other coaches to design comprehensive training programs.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and coaching methodologies in tennis.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating tennis events, tournaments, and camps.
- 20+ hours per week, rostered betweenMonday-Saturday
About You
- Proven experience as a Tennis Coach, working with players of various ages and skill levels.
- Sound knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with players, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adjust teaching and coaching methodology based on new information.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Certification from a recognized Tennis Coaching organization is preferred (Tennis Australia/ATPCA etc).
- A current working with Children Check, Police check and first aid qualifications
