About the Role
The Terminal Administrator provides administration support to the Terminal Manager to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations of the Kewdale terminal.
This role will be Part Time working Monday to Thursday. A great role to have work life / balance with every Friday off!
Responsibilities include reception function for ATOM for visitor access and goods received. Assist terminal manager with general administration duties that may include but not be limited to managing parcel deliveries, general office ordering while progressing to training in terminal operations so that safe and reliable operations are maintained. The role ensures that the needs of customers are met in a timely manner with due regard to HSSE, reliability, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships, product stewardship & customer service.
About You
Being a flexible go-getter with a strong team-playing attitude is essential, as is a willingness to lean into learning, and having great time management, communication and organisational skills. An eye for continuous improvement is a big plus, as is an ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
Key requirements for success will include:
- You hold full working rights for Australia for this part-time position.
- Current or previous experience in an administration role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable with a self-managed / autonomous environment
- Attention to detail, time management and ability to multitask.
- Previous administration experience advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry or similar is a plus.
- Flexible to support leave and regional sites with purchase orders and invoicing
If you have previous experience in working in high-risk environments (oil & gas, mining, etc.) this is a big bonus, as safety is always our number one priority. If you haven't worked in these industries that's no problem as we provide all necessary training and value diversity of experience.
