About The Role
Our business is looking for someone who is driven and has the desire to help the continuous development and growth of our business through their ability to obtain and grow sales.
Responsibilities
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Maintain daily phone calls to existing clients as well as face-to-face meetings and territory planning depending on status of account (A, B or C)
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and grow opportunities within the territory and collaborate with sales management and team to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Establish relationships with new customers and secure their business to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
- Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking, trade shows etc.
- Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
- Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
- Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
- Report/update on sales activity minimum on a weekly basis but preferably daily to maintain accuracy
- Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions daily/weekly for accuracy
- Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity
