We are looking for a Territory Manager to join the sales team to work closely with the Dealer network, managing existing relationships to build volume and margin growth. Ideally based in Toowoomba, Dalby or Brisbane (or nearby), you’ll be responsible for the South East Queensland territory. This requires you to be on the road once a fortnight, ideally for three to four nights (there’s some flexibility around this). Key aspects of the role include:
- Strengthening & growing relationships
- Identifying customer needs
- Developing account plans & call program
- Identifying opportunities & securing product placement
- Organising activities & maintaining regular contact
- Alibility to work professionally & autonomously in a geographically dispersed but close-knit team
To be successful you require a blend of account management experience, a positive attitude and commercial smarts. Ideally tertiary qualified, you’ll likely have experience in the agriculture and /or equipment verticals to hit the ground running. You’ll also need a high level of numeracy and ability to think and communicate in terms of business outcomes. Given the independence required in managing the territory, you’ll also need to be a motivated self-starter.
