Job Description Summary
We have a fantastic role based in Sydney, overseeing the New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory regions. As part of our team, you’ll maintain existing relationships while driving new business with key decision makers—procurement professionals, directors, nurse unit managers, ICU Physicians and other clinical leaders—in both public and private hospitals. Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including Intensive care staff, urology surgeons, infection control, procurement and nursing staff
Achieve sales targets for the prescribed range of products with continual surveillance of the market to develop and review long-term strategies to ensure consistent sales, market share and profit growth.
Establish, implement and review a territory plan including goals and specific actions.
Maintain an accurate and current CRM database of all accounts including activities, opportunities, risks and customer contact details.
Ensure that we are meeting or exceeding customer expectations through a collaborative approach.
Develop expertise in the clinical areas by building and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of customer practices.
Attend relevant industry trade shows and conferences.
Preferred Requirements:
A proven track record in medical device or pharmaceutical sales
Demonstrates strong business acumen and a strategic approach to territory management
Experience in Urology, ICU and Critical Care environments will be highly regarded
Excellent communication skills including the ability to negotiate and influence
Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret sales data and clinical information
Demonstrated ability in matching and delivering the appropriate level of customer support with the value of the business opportunity
Superior organizational skills: ability to work autonomously; competence and experience with MS Office and CRM tools.
Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
Ability to interpret and analyse data to grow sales in alignment with marketing strategy.
Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of providing innovative solutions.
Education in healthcare or sciences is desirable.
Additional information:
Some weekend work may be required as will out of normal business hours work.
Domestic travel may be required.
Driver's license required.
