Job Summary
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven customer focused Territory Sales Manager who will actively promote Pentair's hygienic process, stainless steel sanitary and aseptic valves, manifolds and prefabricated units for the dairy, beverage, and general food industry across VIC, TAS and WA.
This role requires an experienced Sales professional who has a solid understanding of customer and end user requirements across the food and beverage and pharmaceutical markets.
The successful candidate will be a results driven individual who has the ability to communicate, negotiate, influence and develop constructive relationships coupled with proven history of meeting targets, managing existing accounts and enjoy seeking new business opportunities.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for achieving sales budget for the assigned territory to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Develop and recommend sales strategies and effectively implement in line with company objectives.
- Seek new business opportunities to achieve profit targets for the company through the identification and attraction of new markets and customers.
- Provide technical assistance to customers in collaboration with engineers, technicians and specialists
- Promote sale and after sales services on a full range of products and services to new & existing customers
- Respond to enquiries from customers, specify design & configure the most appropriate solutions.
- Investigate and expedite warranty claim and complaints in accordance with company policies
- Responsible for continuously improving customer professional relationships
- Liaise with manufacturing plants on product availability and customer requirements
- Resolve customer product enquiries
Key Requirements
- Sales experience with proven technical aptitude in the Food and Beverage processing industry or similar.
- Qualification – Relevant tertiary technical qualification in Engineering / Electronics desirable but not essential.
- Experience dealing with similar customer groups and having technical understanding of products
- Sales experience with proven technical aptitude
- Excellent communication, client facing, consulting, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in Sales force CRM tool.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developing and presenting product presentations.
- Management of existing accounts and relationships
- Sound written and communication skills
- Negotiation skills and customer focused
- Knowledge of SalesForce
- Highly motivated and possess an ability to build strong business relationships
- Microsoft office programs knowledge – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
