- Establish and execute on Channel Account Plans.
- Implement initiatives to maximize sales opportunities for the product range.
- Work with the different departments including Operations, Sales, Account Management and Technical Services to ensure smooth provision of products and services.
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships within the key channel partners.
- Work with key channel partners and vendor representatives to help achieve the set objectives.
- Grow the Channel Partner base in line with strategic plans for the region.
- Explore different ways to optimize profitability through the vendor, solutions, or services.
- Develop and execute on marketing initiatives in conjunction with the vendors to achieve outcomes in the region.
- Maintain and support relationships with key strategic Service Provider partners.
- Maintain product knowledge - achieve sales certifications for vendors as required
- Ensure that pricing and initiatives deliver on the profit objectives of the Vendor they represent.
- Conduct planned lunch and learns and participate in other activities as required for Channel Partners customers.
- Provide sales quotations as required and ensure profit objectives are managed closely.
- Using NetSuite build and maintain regional pipeline and ensure it is up to date.
- Identify new business opportunities within your regional area.
- Be adept at communicating both within the organisation and with clients in their territory
- Analyse market trends, identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to maximise sales and market share
- Have a deep understanding of the sales process including prospecting, negotiation and closing deals.
- Build strong relationships and prioritise customer needs
- Have excellent organizational skills
- Be flexible and adaptable to adjust their strategies in response to shifting market dynamics.
